Step 1:
Wind a copper wire around a nail or any other rod of a conductor.(Note:the figure given above is just an example,you will have to wind a thinner wire with more number of turns)
Step 2:
After winding the wire all you have to do is connect the end points of the copper wire to a battery.Your electromagnet is ready!
(Note:use a copper wire without insulation for best effect.There is a mistake in the figure which says that use insulated copper wire.Sorry for the error.)
